The
Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau was founded in 1990, its
mission is to promote and encourage the development, in Hamilton County,
of tourism, conventions, visitors, trade shows, festivals and other
special
events.
Located on the north side of Indianapolis, some of the
state's most popular attractions call Hamilton County home. A living
history museum, Conner Prairie attracts more
than 340,000 visitors each year. Likewise, more than 500,000 people attend
concerts at Verizon Wireless Music Center each year.
In addition, Hamilton County features championship golf
courses, one-of-a-kind shops and unique eateries. And Hamilton County
offers 19 hotels with more than 1,900 rooms.
