Eastern Indiana Experience

The late-Victorian style Seiberling Mansion was built in 1891 by the wealthy industrialist Monroe Seiberling who came here to take advantage of the natural gas deposits which turned Kokomo into an industrial town. The local history library provides volumes of information about people, places and events in central Indiana. The mansion offers a variety of events (some by reservation), the reenactment of Emma Seiberling's wedding, private dinners, historical lunch and dessert tours, and the Victorian Christmas Celebration are a few examples. Group tours are available by appointment.
